4 Things to Look for When Buying CBD Oil Online

CBD oil and CBD products in general can be confusing if you’ve just been introduced to them. But, once you understand the basics, things become clearer. The thing is that many manufacturers take advantage of the inexperience of customers, and use tricks to sell them subpar ineffective products. When you know exactly what to look for, you should be able to find the best product for you, and enjoy the benefits. Here are some of the things you should look at when buying CBD online.

Lab Results

You should be able to clearly see a copy of the lab results for any product that you’re buying. Good suppliers will be more than happy to show the results and make them easily available to you. If you can’t find a link on their website, contact them and ask them for a copy.

However, if you can’t find a copy and they’re trying to have you jump through hoops to get one, run. This is a clear sign of someone you can’t trust. You can’t just put anything in your body. No lab results, no buy, it’s as simple as that.

Isolate vs Full-Spectrum

Another thing you have to do is check if the product is an isolate or a full spectrum oil or tincture. These 2 have significant differences and one might be a better option than the other for you.

Full spectrum oil will use all of the plant’s material while an isolate will have strictly the CBD. Isolates will look more like this. These are a better option if you want to only feel the effects of the CBD and not the various other terpenes and elements that might be there. Some might want to have these terpenes, however. Our advice in this case would be to stick to isolates until you’re familiar with all the terpenes so you don’t get any undesirable effects.

The Total Amount and Concentration

This is one of the things that confuses new customers the most. It’s important that you learn how to understand CBD concentration in products. You can have a 30ml bottle with 750mg of CBD in it and a 100ml bottle with 300mg. You can quickly see here which one would be the best deal.

If you’re a beginner, we suggest you stick with lower formulations at around 300mg to 750mg per 30ml. This will be roughly between 10mg to 25mg per serving, which is a good starting dose to start gauging the effects.

Where the Source Product Came From

This is another thing you should look for. You want to go with a product that was sourced from the US as much as you can, but Canada and the EU are great sources as well. Either way, if a company won’t or can’t tell you where it was sourced from, this is a definite red flag.

Finding great CBD products is easy once you know what to look for and where to search. Whatever you do, always make sure to buy from someone you can trust and that can show proof.
